The support pillars of the rope pyramid are made from structural steel with a diameter of 114 mm. The pillars are protected against corrosion by hot-dip galvanizing and are fixed in a concrete bed. The ropes are made using HERKULES material (16 mm thick ropes made from polypropylene with a steel internal core) and are connected with plastic or aluminium joints. The turnbuckles are stainless steel. All fastening material is galvanized or stainless steel.
