Grass pads are made from recycled plastic and lock together. Installation is simple: pads are laid on the lawn and underlaid with a plastic mesh preventing them from being pressed into the ground. The edges of the pads are secured with pins and covered with turf. The recycled plastic protects against slipping and is UV resistant. Furthermore, it contains a flame retardant that protects it against being vandalised. The pads prevent the lawn from being trodden down; grass growing through the pads is maintained in the standard way with a mower.
